Built in 1913 (with a modernist facade), the venue has a hundred years of history of leisure and culture in the Garriga.

The cinema opened the Café - now gone - in 1914. It was the venue for political gatherings, dance and theater shows. The first projections date from 1928.

A documentary by Marc Planagumà, produced by the Amical dels antics guerrillers de Catalunya, and starring journalist Marta Molina, who walks along the maquis route from Prats de Molló to the Bellmunt Sanctuary, recovering stories of courage and resistance that thousands of women and men played in their fight against Francoism and for the recovery of freedoms, democracy and the Republic.

GRAVEL BICYCLE CIRCULAR ROUTE through the Garriga region

You must bring suitable sports clothing and footwear, water and a small snack, as well as your own bicycle in good condition and suitable for safe riding (gravel type or similar). The activity is open to anyone who has the necessary physical condition to complete a route on terrain adapted to gravel bikes. The route does not present any remarkable technical difficulties and is designed to enjoy the landscape and pedaling in good company. The route is approximately 36 km.

WALKING de la Botifarra

Popular walk, suitable for all ages, on the occasion of the Fira de la Botifarra de la Garriga.

The Walk will leave from Passatge Dr. Vic, next to the Church of la Garriga and will travel the entire Walk and then head towards the olive fields between la Garriga, Samalús and Les Franqueses. Finally, it will return to la Garriga, where attendees can have breakfast at the Fira de la Botifarra (tickets must be purchased separately). A circular route of 8km, practically flat.
