A good bike ride that, amidst strong landscape contrasts, from rural plains to mountainous slopes, will take you to the Vallforners valley, already in Cànoves, where water gushes everywhere. There you can admire the chestnut tree of Cuch, a tree so monumental that, for some years, a man even lived inside its trunk.

We leave La Garriga through the Malhivern forest at the end of the Walk. We will cross the road and follow the wide path and be alert at the crossroads after the grove, where we will go left passing through the farms and always following the path in the direction of Corró to reach Cànoves and climb towards the Vallforners swamp. Once in the swamp we will reach a crossroads where the path to the right is marked. Following the directions we will arrive at Castanyer d'en Cuch

We can make a stop there. Close by, about 500 meters higher, we will find Casa del Bosc.

We will go down the Castanyer trail again until we return to the junction of the swamp and we will take the other path to go uphill until we reach the junction that crosses the stream, once you have crossed the stream, there is a trail that goes to the left, along which we will skirt the swamp to find a wide track that then forks, at this point we will take the right-hand path and go up some short ramps to reach another track that crosses to go left, where we will exit to the road.

We will take a piece of road until we reach the crossing of the Schools of Samalús where we will turn left until we find the crossing of a dirt road with a steep descent that again reaches the Forest of Malhivern, which will take us to La Garriga
