Under the name "Summer Evenings", the Visitor Center offers, like last year, a series of activities that will allow you to learn about the heritage of La Garriga when the sun is already setting.
Most activities focus on the three most recognized elements of the Garriga legacy: modernism and the heritage linked to summer residence, the memorial heritage and the church of La Doma, which helps us understand how the people of rural La Garriga lived and related to each other.
And it is the lives, work, emotions and relationships of the people of rural La Garriga, precisely, that are the protagonists of a very special activity. On Friday, July 25 at 8 p.m., there will be a visit, guided by historian Jordi Llimargas, who will follow some of the places, buildings and people of that time, to understand how the people who preceded us lived. And it will end in Plaça de l'Església, at 9 p.m., where the audiovisual of the #LG1716 project will be presented.
Before that, on Saturday, July 5 at 8:30 a.m., you can enjoy a route around La Garriga: "La Garriga, mosaic of landscapes", included in the guide to itineraries for the Vallès Oriental by Editorial Alpina.
To participate, prior registration is mandatory.
You can check the entire program for July, August and September at www.visitalagarriga.cat. And we remind you that, on Saturday afternoons in July and August, the Visitor Center will be at your service from Can Raspall.
