You can now check and sign up for the activities scheduled by the La Garriga Visitor Center.

In addition to the usual visits and itineraries (the station shelter, modernism, the family activity Desperta Holmes!...), this quarter includes new features and special programs.

We highlight two activities with experts:

On Saturday, April 25, there will be a wild plant recognition trip and product tasting with Berta Garriga, from the Eixarcolant Group.

Since this January, work has been underway to renovate the Can Terrers motorhome area, which will now have access control.

After the previous tasks, the works have begun with the opening of the trench through which the lighting installations will pass.

Among the works to be carried out, there is the installation of the access barrier and the payment machine and the delimitation of the plot reserved for motorhomes. In addition, the software for reservations and control of limited stays is also being prepared.

The Visitor Center has also obtained, once again, the distinction, which guarantees the quality and sustainability of tourist services.

The City Council of La Garriga and the Visitor Center have been distinguished with the Biosphere Commitment to Sustainability for the 2025 edition, revalidating the seal they already obtained last year.

In La Garriga, the tourist rentals Sono Apartaments, Sigrada and Antic Can Poi have also received the distinction as tourist information points.

During the months of September and December 2025, the restoration of 2.5 hectares of fluvial habitat in the Congost in La Garriga was carried out, specifically in the southern area of Les Roques.

The action, promoted by the RIVUS Foundation within the framework of the CoMBe Habitats project, has allowed to improve the state of conservation of the fluvial habitats, strengthen the native riparian forest, promote ecological connectivity and generate new refuge spaces for fauna.

This year, on the 100th anniversary of the death of the composer and pedagogue, La Garriga is paying tribute to the artist with a series of activities.

The Martí l’Humà University Foundation and the La Garriga City Council have prepared a program of activities to commemorate the centenary of the death of Narcisa Freixas.
