The objective is to mark a commitment to the protection of thermal heritage, the involvement of local communities and the promotion of thermal tourism as a public good.

On Monday, February 9, the signing of the Budapest Declaration 2025 was formalized, a commitment that was acquired by representatives of the European Association of Historic Thermal Towns (EHTTA) with the aim of marking a firm commitment to the protection of thermal heritage, the involvement of local communities and the promotion of thermal tourism as a public good.

At the meeting, the strategic lines for 2026 were agreed, emphasizing the role of thermalism as a resource for health, well-being and local development.

La Garriga was present at the Governing Council of the Thermal Villas Network of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), held last week in Caldes de Malavella.
