La Bayadère takes place in the Orient and presents the story of Nikiya, a bayadère from India, in love with Prince Solor, who must also marry the daughter of the ruling Rajah, named Gamzatti. The high priest Brahim also desires Nikiya.

In the sacred forest of the High Brahmin, fakirs and dancers are celebrating the Hindu ritual of fire. Nikiya, the most beautiful of the bayadères, has been chosen to be consecrated as the main dancer of the temple. The High Brahmin declares his love for Nikiya, but she rejects him. Nikya and Solor meet in secret and swear eternal love over the sacred fire, but they are discovered by the jealous High Brahmin, who promises to kill Solor.

The Rajah has decided to reward Solor's courage and decrees that he will marry Gamzatti's daughter.

Although he has sworn eternal love to Nikiya, he cannot defy Rajah's wishes. The High Brahmin informs Rajah of the secret love between Nikiya and Solor, and he decides to end Nikiya. Gamzatti hears about the secret love between Nikiya and Solor and calls Nikiya to his chamber, where he tries to bribe her to leave Solor, being rejected and swearing to end her. During the engagement with Solor, he presents Nikiya with a basket of flowers containing a poisonous snake that bites her and upon seeing Solor leave with Gamzatti, he refuses to take the antidote and dies.

Under the influence of opium, Solor dreams of reuniting with Nikiya in the Kingdom of Shadows where their eternal love will endure.

The school, opened in 2012 by the brothers Àngel and Carmen Corella, has a study program with its own degree and end-of-degree certificate. This group is made up of students selected for their characteristics in accordance with the curriculum, who are accompanied in their comprehensive development as artists and individuals. At the high-performance center located in Samalús, young people are accompanied and advised by national and international references and supported by the talent coaching plan.
