The Modernist Days, take place during the second weekend of October.
An event that aims to reflect through different recreational and cultural events and with a critical eye, on summer vacation, Modernism and what its heritage has meant for La Garriga and the country.
The Modernist Conferences investigate the figure of architects who left their mark on La Garriga, focus on some key figures, and also look at the impact it had on the people of the town and the working class
Music always plays a prominent role, with concerts of music from the period in emblematic spaces of the Garriga heritage. Music, history and heritage, therefore, go hand in hand during the conference. During the weekend, guided tours, conferences and dramatized readings are also held, among other informative activities.
Guided tours, theatrical scenes, conferences, music, the traditional gala dinner, thermal circuits at the spas... You can also visit the restaurants and taste modernist menus.
All of this - the diversity of events, spaces and times -, with the aim of bringing Modernism and its determining relationship with La Garriga to all types of public, so that both the specialized public, families wanting to have a good time, or people with cultural concerns can find a proposal that can satisfy them.
For 2026 the dates will be from 16 to 18 October
