A film adaptation of Warren Zanes's account of the recording of Bruce Springsteen's 1982 album "Nebraska". The film follows 'The Boss' as a young musician at the dawn of world fame, trying to reconcile the pressures of success with the ghosts of his past. Recorded on an old four-track cassette in his room in New Jersey, 'Nebraska' reflects a momentous period in his life and is full of lost characters searching for a reason to believe.
