Last Wednesday, April 9, the first Technical and Private Plenary of the Tourism Service of this year was held in the Sala Orila of the Rectory of Sant Pere de Vilamajor.

The Minister of Tourism, Mr. Àlex Valiente, and the Councilor for Tourism, Youth and Transport, Mr. Aleix Monrabà, welcomed all the technical representatives of the town councils and representatives of the associations related to tourism in the region.

During the meeting, a review of the actions included in the 2025 Action Plan was carried out. The actions that have already been carried out were explained and those that are in progress or will be carried out in the coming months were monitored. In addition, projects and initiatives that are being worked on by the different town councils and associations were shared.

Next, Sant Pere de Vilamajor was visited with the aim of getting to know first-hand, both from the perspective of the visitor and from the perspective of the tourism sector professional, the tourist resources and products of Sant Pere de Vilamajor. The participants in the plenary session began the visit to La Mongia, the tourist office and reference point for the municipality's tourist promotion, where information on trails, itineraries, activities and guided tours of the Torre Roja and the Cathedral of Vallès can be found.
