• At 7 p.m., Conference ‘Festive Processions in Catalonia. From the Royal Entrances to Corpus Christi and the Festa Major’ at the Mauri Foundation (c. de Cardedeu, 17) by Daniel Vilarrúbias, art historian and archivist.
• Then, inauguration of the photographic exhibition ‘Corpus Christi in La Garriga: devotion, celebration and neighborhood’.

Last Wednesday, April 9, the first Technical and Private Plenary of the Tourism Service of this year was held in the Sala Orila of the Rectory of Sant Pere de Vilamajor.

The Minister of Tourism, Mr. Àlex Valiente, and the Councilor for Tourism, Youth and Transport, Mr. Aleix Monrabà, welcomed all the technical representatives of the town councils and representatives of the associations related to tourism in the region.

From May 5 to 11, La Garriga is hosting a new edition of the Cooperation Days.

The Cooperation Days, an event that aims to publicize the development cooperation projects that entities in the municipality carry out around the world, return to La Garriga from May 5 to 11.

The days will feature various activities, such as talks, training and exhibitions, one of which, “La Garriga que transforma”, will show the 2024 projects in Plaça de l'Església.

You can now consult and sign up for the activities scheduled by the La Garriga Visitor Center.

In addition to the usual visits and itineraries (the station shelter, modernism, the family activity Desperta Holmes!...), this quarter includes new features and special programs.

We highlight this quarter with some activities dedicated to historical memory such as "A bicycle ride through the spaces of memory" which is a collaboration between the Visitor Center and the organization Pedalem la Garriga; as well as a guided tour of the Rosanes Airfield.

The need to protect the territory and take care of the people who live there has led us to make a commitment to obtain the Bisophère sustainability commitment as a tourist destination.
