From March 15 to October 15, fires cannot be made on forest land and authorization from the General Directorate of Forests and Environmental Management is required.

The Department of Climate Action, Food and Rural Agenda informs that from March 15, and until October 15, you can no longer light fires in forest land.

This prohibition, contained in Decree 64/1995, aims to establish a series of measures to prevent forest fires. The rule regulates that in forest lands, whether or not they are populated with tree species, and in the 500 meter strip that surrounds them, no fire can be lit, whatever the purpose.
