La Garriga has the municipal swimming pools and the Núria Albó Library as climate shelters.

In the face of the heat, it is worth remembering that throughout the summer, La Garriga has two climate shelters: on the one hand, the municipal swimming pool, which will open on June 25, and on the other, the Núria Albó Library, which operates with seasonal hours.

Thus, until September 15, the library is open in the afternoons from Monday to Friday, from 4 to 8:30 p.m. and in the mornings of Thursday and Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

We remind you that during heat waves, the City Council offers free access to the swimming pool to the most vulnerable groups.

Children under 12 years of age, pregnant women, breastfeeding women and people over 65 years of age will be able to access it.

It is essential to show your ID to prove that you are registered in La Garriga.

The established limited capacity will be maintained.

The Directorate General of Civil Protection has launched, as it does every year, a campaign to prevent and raise awareness of summer risks.

Every year, Civil Protection produces a series of tips to prevent and avoid risks related to the summer season.

People interested in setting up a craft stall at the Modernist Fair can apply between June 7 and July 8.

A new edition of the Modernist Days of La Garriga will be held on October 11 and 12. As every year, a space is reserved for the Modernist Fair, which includes stalls with artisanal products.

The scheduled hours are: Saturday, October 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Sunday, October 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

In addition to the usual visits and itineraries (the station shelter, modernism, the family activity Desperta Holmes!...), this quarter includes new features and special programs.

We highlight this quarter with some activities dedicated to historical memory such as "A bicycle ride through the spaces of memory" which is a collaboration between the Visitor Center and the organization Pedalem la Garriga; as well as a guided tour of the Rosanes Airfield.
