The Garriga of 2000 years ago
The Roman villa of Can Terrers is the embodiment of the power of Rome 2,000 years ago in the Garriga.
You can freely visit the hot baths, walk through the rooms where their owners stepped two millennia ago, and also learn a lot about one of the most important Roman rural settlements in Catalonia, declared a Cultural Property of National Interest. Did you know that the wine made in Can Terrers was drunk in Italy, Egypt and Greece?
Just now, as part of the "Can Terrers, 2,000 years of history in 4 steps" project, the visiting circuit, all the interpretive signage and also the activities that can be done there, have just been renovated. The project also has a magnificent audiovisual that can be viewed freely at the Garriga Visitor Centre.
