The family home of the architect Manuel J. Raspall

The Can Raspall building is a magnificent modernist construction, considered the first work of the architect Manuel J. Raspall. The building takes advantage of some materials from the medieval house that occupied the same place, where Raspall's mother was born. The architect demolished it and built the current building there, respecting its proportions more or less.

Today it is a public building from which you can visit the ground floor, with its noble room, and with a permanent exhibition entitled “Manuel J. Raspall i el Modernisme: dibuixant la Garriga”. It is attached to its neighboring building, can Mayol, a Noucentista work by the same architect.

It is also the starting point for the modernist routes of La Garriga.
